Albano, Ariccia, Genzano and Nemi
The Eye of Jupiter and the Sacred Way – We start the adventures tour from Albano,by our electric bikes we admire the architecture sacred and pagan as, the early Christian churches of San Pancrazio, Santa Maria della Rotonda, the baroque Church of San Francesco and the roman Amphiteatre . Continuing the ride through breathtaking views, we arrive at Ariccia where we find Santa Maria della Stella and the church of Santa Maria and the some of the better Reinassence Residences. During the lunch time,we can enjoy of the many delicacies,especially the flavored pork, prepared pork meat with rosemary, garlic and black pepper. Once in Genzano, that’s famous for the floral procession of Corpus Christi, you can admire the important sites as Santa Maria della Cima, the Holy Trinity and the Annunciation and following the old route of the Via Appia Antica, we comes near the remains of one of the gates of the Via Appia. So we spend the night at the Fourth of Almond, in folkloristic shepherds huts and eat caressed by the light of the fire. Then we set off on horseback the next morning to the ancient Temple of Jupiter, down along the Via Sacra and we arrive through a forest of chestnut , first to the magical source of Fontan storm and then to the pretty village of Nemi. A hiking along the edge of the lake, admiring its beautiful picturesque figures as Nemi and Genzano ,braided cities in the enchanting lush green of the Castelli Romani Park.
